Front Suspension:
Norco Storm and Charger
Our most popular bikes are the 'hard-tail' mountain bikes. The Norco Storm and Charger are perfectly suited for riding the pavement or tackling the single track; front suspension, disk brakes and clean shifting make this an ideal ride.
Comfort
Comfort bikes are loved for their relaxed riding position, smoother rolling tires and a wide, comfy padded saddle. For a day of cruising around Whistler, on the Valley Trail or other paved or hard-packed routes, you can't beat this ride for fun and comfort.
In this category we offer you the Specialized Globe Carmel 26 3, because we feel you don't need to compromise on quality when you're after an easier ride. It even has front suspension forks and a suspension seat post!
Full Suspension
The perfect Cross Country ride! The agile Enduro Comp SL from Specialized is lightweight with 6 inches of travel on full suspension front and back. Add hydraulic disc brakes and its many other features and you'll see why these are top bikes able to take on Whistler's trails. We have both the 2009 Enduro and the 2010 Enduro in our line-up.
Here's the techie on these All Mountain bikes:
CLIMB HIGHER; DESCEND FARTHER. With six inches of plush travel and totally integrated suspension components, the Enduro® SL begs you to climb higher and descend farther.
Inside Tech: The SL's incredibly rigid E150 fork boasts a category leading stiffness-to-weight ratio, guaranteeing telepathic handling and faster accelerations. A totally integrated approach to suspension design and Specialized patented Spike Valve, gives the E150 great stability and bump management capabilities.
Downhill / Park bikes
Serious riding means serious bikes. These rides are designed to handle extra challenging terrain like descending Whister's mountains or playing in the parks. The Norco A-Line and Specialized BigHit are both competent full-suspension bikes with massive travel, front and rear disc brakes and frame geometry built for what Whistler can offer the rider who likes a challenge.
We provide a full-face helmet and pads with these bikes, because we know you might be including them on a few serious rides. And we want you to be safe.
We don't think you'll find a better choice in a high-end rental bike in Whistler.
Kids
We're kid-friendly here at the Cross Country Connection. Kids love getting out on the bikes, whether it is riding their 20" Norco Eliminator (pictured) or being towed behind. We have bikes for little riders of nearly any size plus Trail-a-bikes and Chariot trailers.
Note: All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable GST tax of 5%
