As if honing your skills along beautiful trails with great equipment were not enough, we celebrate the fun of our winter on a regular basis at the Cross Country Connection.
We have weekly events, annual festivals plus opportunities. Check them out in more detail, just below the calendar. We also have results from events here.
Twoonie Nights
Every Thursday night get out and join us for this CASUAL evening on skis! Twoonie Race, technique or a combination of both will happen weekly. A great way to stretch the legs and get active.
- When: Every Thursday beginning in December, sign in at 5.30pm
- Where: The Connection or Warming Hut
- Cost: Must be a member of Whistler Nordics ($25.00 for the season).
- Registration available at The Connection. Must have an evening trail pass ($8.00)

Lost Lake Shuffle:
This annual fun Nordic Enduro has been a local favourite for seven years. We look forward to hosting this event again soon. Please check here for updates early in the season. It is for every level of skier. Check out the race results here!
- The 3 hour Enduro
- The 1.5 hour Half-Enduro as a solo or Junior team category.
- The 1 hr category is for SDP (Jackrabbits) and Families. SDP kids are in teams of three; families must ski together in teams of three with at least one member being 12 or under (more than 3 can ski together).
Simply ski the most laps of the 3km course (2km for families) and you win! Plan your whole day around it, with an awesome Apres event planned. There are prizes for Family and Individual categories with plenty of great draw prizes from a very supportive community including hotel stays, ski passes and equipment. This event is always a highlight of the ski season! Proceeds from the event go to Whistler Nordics coaching program. Learn to Skate Ski: January & February
Learn to Skate Ski! Through the Municipality we run introductory and advanced four week skate ski programs that run through January and February. This is your best value for certified instruction. Call 604-935-PLAY(7529) or visit www.whistler.ca and check the Recreation guide for details
