Snowshoeing

If you can walk, you can snowshoe. Discover the beauty and freedom of the Whistler winter landscape at your own pace, with no learning curve. Use your own comfortable boots or use our NEOS, which is an overboot that fits over your own footwear. Head out directly from our shop on one of three colour coded trails rated easy (shortest, about 1 hr), moderate and adventuresome (longest, about 3 hrs). See the Trail Map for details. It can be quiet and calm or transform into an energetic dash through fresh snow — you set the pace and the adventure.

Snowshoes
For those looking for grip rather than glide we offer you snowshoe rentals. With exciting new gear, this sport is growing by leaps and bounds! Use your own boots (hiking or winter - snowboard boots are too wide) or wear our NEOS overboots.

Snowshoeing in Lost Lake Park is most enjoyable on a self guided basis.  Because most of the snow in the valley falls under mild conditions the well marked trails become packed quickly and are easy to follow.  For this reason we feel it best to let you create your own experience and enjoy the wonder that is Lost Lake Park at your own pace. On those occasions we do see feet of fresh, light snow we will arrange for tours as needed and go play with you.
